As with all good design, mascot design
begins with a good understanding of the client's needs. Mascot designers need to quickly identify
key considerations and decisions required for achieving the desired look
and performance within a given budget.
Providing good service, however, may require more than
working knowledge of materials and methods. Good service always requires
good "people" skills. Good design service, then, may require the ability
to accurately infer what many of a busy client's choices would be based
on a few responses, or it may require patience to discuss the design in
